Privacy policy

Last updated 31 July 2026

This integration is used by one company on its own accounting data. It has no external users, collects nothing from the public, and shares no data with third parties.

Who this covers

JVC Automotive Solutions LLC ("the Company"), a Washington limited liability company in Kennewick, Washington, operates a private QuickBooks Online integration for its own bookkeeping. This policy explains what that integration does with data.

What the integration accesses

Using the QuickBooks Online API under the com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting scope, and only against QuickBooks company files the Company owns, it reads and writes:

What it does not do

Why the data is used

Solely to keep the Company's books accurate: correcting misrecorded transactions, reconciling payments against invoices, categorizing costs, and producing financial reports for the Company, its accountants, and its tax filings.

Where data is stored

Accounting data remains in QuickBooks Online, hosted by Intuit. The integration holds no copy of the Company's books. It stores only OAuth credentials, meaning a client identifier, client secret, refresh token, and company realm identifier, which are kept in access-restricted configuration on Company-controlled systems and are never transmitted anywhere except to Intuit for authentication.

Who can access it

Only the Company's owner and authorized staff or contractors performing bookkeeping work. Access ends when their engagement ends.

Retention

Accounting records are retained in QuickBooks Online per the Company's records policy and applicable Washington and federal tax law. OAuth credentials are retained while the integration is in use and destroyed when it is disconnected.

Security

Access uses OAuth 2.0; no QuickBooks password is stored. Credentials are held in restricted-permission files or a managed secret store, are excluded from version control, and are transmitted only over TLS. Tokens are revoked when no longer needed.

Your rights

Individuals whose information appears in the Company's accounting records, such as customers and vendors, may request access to, correction of, or deletion of that information, subject to record-retention obligations under tax and accounting law. Write to admin@jvcas.com.

Material changes will be reflected here with a revised date above.
